I've been using copilot for the past year and recently the copilot version changed and now i noticed a time limit for my chats which interferes with my daily and evening computer work not good as i was relying on copilot for my lab work . "You have reached your daily chat limit" *john bryla

I started getting these messages a few days ago too. I'm still on the same Office 365 Family account as always.

My account page for my family plan says, "As a Microsoft 365 Family plan member, Copilot Al benefits are not available to you.

-Regular access to Al models

-Fair use of Copilot Voice and Think Deeper and other Al features"

But when I log in with the plan admin account , the same page says, "Higher usage limits than free for select Copilot features" instead.

This has happened to me. The app has completely changed, it’s forgotten information from recent conversations, it looks different, the way it replies is different and I now get ‘daily chat limit reached’ which I have never ever had. I have deleted and reinstalled many times and yes I am

signed in with the correct account.

When it says what type of account subscription, I have no idea what one I was on before and if that’s changed and don’t know how to find it. Here to see what answers people have.

Exactly! That user is spot on about the "monthly ransom" upgrade button, but what makes this a literal system failure is that the paywall mechanism is completely broken.

Even if Microsoft is lowering free limits to force upgrades, the "daily chat limit reached" error happens immediately the second you click "New Chat" to open a fresh window. You get locked out before you can even type a single line of text. I am only using basic text inputs—no images, files, or heavy reasoning toggles. Clearing cookies, using private windows, or switching browsers changes nothing.

Microsoft needs to take a note from ChatGPT. When you hit a limit there, it only locks you out for a few hours, or it seamlessly switches you to a lighter fallback model so you can actually finish your work. Completely blocking a personal account for a full 24 hours on empty chat windows is an unacceptable backend glitch.

Microsoft engineers, please fix this quota synchronization bug and give us a functional fallback system!

2 days ago it stopped answering. I did a refresh. New interface, spent a few hours finding old conversations and listing them,then in short order you have reached your limit, try back at 8 pm or tomorrow.

Today I got more interaction but just hit my limit.
Looks like the new paradigm.

Hit the exact same wall. Dropping that "reached your limit, try back tomorrow" message so quickly isn't just an inconvenience—it completely breaks the ability to get consistent support or finish a real task.

today was my first day of the new copilot experience. 6 interactions in and i've reached my limit. the answers it now give are vague, it's lost its personal touch. if copilot was a human, it was like talking to a different person. i didn't find it useful like it used to be and now i can't talk to it at all. it's effectively useless. i guess that's the end of using copilot.

I've noticed recently that if you ask copilot to search for something, prior to updates, it would find you the item with links. Now it just says look on this website and search for whatever it is you've asked copilot to find for you. Not only is it the frustrating you've reached your daily limit, the performance has definitely declined.

Microsoft Copilot ist am Ende, dass weiß ich mitlerweile. Kein anderer Anbieter hat ein Tageslimit, und hier wird rumgebastelt,

und nach kuzer Zeit haben wir ein Neues Problem. Man macht alles nur noch schlimmer, und wartet bis der letzte User das sinkende Schiff verlassen hat. Ich habe seit Donnerstag das Problem mit dem Limit, es kann nicht Euer Ernst sein, dass das tägliche Limit mit wenigen Zeilen schon ausgeschöpft werden soll. Überall steht in den Hilfeseiten kostenloser Microsoft Copilot ohne Einschränkungen, und seit paar Tagen ist hier der Teufel los. Wollt ihr uns alle verarschen?
