    To clarify, is Windows currently showing as activated, or does the Activation page say that no product key or license was found?

    Please check Settings > System > Activation and let us know:

    • The activation status or exact error code shown there
    • Whether the installed edition is Windows Home or Pro
    • Whether Windows originally came preinstalled on this PC or was purchased separately
    • Whether any hardware, especially the motherboard, was replaced after the crash

    If the Activation page says Windows is activated with a digital license, a visible product key may not be required. However, if Windows is not activated, the details above will help determine whether this is an edition mismatch, a licensing issue, or a hardware-change issue.
