This error indicates that Minecraft could not validate the saved sign-in credential.

If you are using Windows, first confirm that you can sign in to your account in a web browser. If browser sign-in works, close the Minecraft Launcher and Xbox app, then search for Credential Manager from Start.

Open Windows Credentials and remove only entries containing Xbl, Xbox, Mojang, or Minecraft. Restart the computer, sign in to the Store and Xbox app with the same account, and try the launcher again. Similar steps have resolved cached sign-in problems, but avoid deleting unrelated credentials.

If the account also fails to sign in through a browser, clearing local credentials is unlikely to help. In that case, the issue is more likely with the account credentials or verification process.
