New Sea lions sleeping on the Beach Windows (or Bing) wallpaper

Usually, there is an option to click on "Like what you see" re: a wallpaper being displayed, so you can find out more about the picture in the wallpaper.

A new one (or one I had never seen before) just displayed a couple of days ago of sea lions (I think) sleeping together on the beach (at least I hope they were sleeping and not dead.) every effort to locate the "Like what you see" button (don't know what to call it) wouldn't work. all that would happen was the sign-in page would pop up.

I tried numerous times, including restarting my laptop. I also searched the web for the picture or to see if anybody else made an online inquiry about the pic. Nothing ever showed up.

After a couple of days -- just several minutes ago -- the wallpaper image changed - and the like what you see button was there as well. But I wasn't able to clsk on it or request to go back to the previous wall paper.

I am most curious about info re: the pic. But alsp, why none of the standard features of "Like what you see", etc didn't work -- just for that wallpaper.

Hi,

It’s hard to determine why it happened with that specific wallpaper since it has already passed. However, since the button is now appearing on the new wallpaper, it was likely just a temporary bug.

If you’re unable to click the button, make sure Microsoft Edge is set as your default browser and Bing is set as your default search engine. The “Like what you see?” button is tied to both Edge and Bing, so having them set as the defaults may help ensure it works properly.

As for the wallpaper, you can press Windows + R then paste this path to open the folder where Windows Spotlight assets are located:

%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets

In the folder, you’ll see files with long string filenames. These are your Windows Spotlight wallpapers. You can open them by right-clicking a file, selecting Rename, and adding .png to the end of the filename to convert it into a valid image format. To sort the files by date and easily identify which one was your recent wallpapers, right-click an empty area in the folder, select View > Details, and then sort the files by date.
