Why is Cambodia not available in the Country/Region selection for Azure for Students Academic Verification?

Cambodia Is Not Available in the Country/Region List During Azure for Students Academic Verification

Hello Microsoft Azure Community,

I am currently trying to sign up for Azure for Students using my university/student account.

According to Microsoft's Azure for Students information, eligible students can receive $100 in Azure credits for one year without requiring a credit card, after successfully completing academic verification.

However, I am unable to complete the academic verification because Cambodia is not available in the Country/Region dropdown list.

My Information

Country: Cambodia

Region/Timezone: Asia/Phnom Penh

Student status: Currently enrolled student

Purpose: Learning Azure, practicing cloud computing, and using Azure for academic/software development projects

Program: Azure for Students

Problem: Cambodia is not available in the Country/Region selection during academic verification

Problem

When I reach the Academic Verification section, I am asked to select my country/region.

However, when I open the Country/Region dropdown, I cannot find:

Cambodia

Because Cambodia is not available, I cannot continue the Azure for Students academic verification process.

I have checked the available countries multiple times, but Cambodia does not appear in the list.

My Question

Could someone from Microsoft or the Azure Education team please clarify:

Is Azure for Students currently available to students in Cambodia?

If Azure for Students is available in Cambodia, why is Cambodia missing from the academic verification country/region list?

Is there another way for Cambodian students to complete the academic verification?

Can Microsoft manually verify a Cambodian university/student account if Cambodia is not available in the dropdown?

Is this a temporary issue with the verification system, or is Cambodia currently not supported for Azure for Students?

If Cambodia is currently unsupported, is there any alternative Microsoft education program available for Cambodian university students?

I am using my official university/student email address and would be happy to complete the normal academic verification process if Cambodia is supported.

I am not asking to bypass the verification requirements. I would simply like to know whether Cambodian students are eligible and, if so, how we can correctly complete the verification when Cambodia is missing from the country list.
