how to play .BUP extension files

I have backup files from blueray fisks with ,bup files. Trying to play on comp[uter windows 11 but unable to play it back

    Hi,

    BUP files aren’t video files. They only contain information related to the location of the video and audio tracks and other disc-related data. Have you checked their file size? If these files came from a DVD, look for a file with the .vob extension, as that’s the actual video file. You can use Windows Media Player to play it, or you can try VLC if it doesn’t work.
