Hello Minecraft Support,

I'm having trouble signing into Minecraft on my Android phone. My Microsoft account is working correctly, and I can sign into the Xbox app and the Minecraft website using the same account ([moderator's note: PII removed]).

However, when I open Minecraft, it still shows “Sign In” even after I successfully complete the Microsoft login.

I have already restarted my phone and tried signing in again, but the problem continues.

Please help me get my Microsoft account connected to Minecraft again.

    Since the same Microsoft account works in the Xbox app and on the Minecraft website, this does not appear to be a password or account-recovery issue. It is more likely that the completed browser sign-in is not being passed back to Minecraft correctly.

    Could you please let me know:

    • Your Android version and Minecraft version.
    • Which browser is set as the default on the phone.
    • Whether the sign-in page returns to Minecraft automatically or remains open in the browser.
    • Whether you are using a VPN, ad blocker, Private DNS, or a managed/work profile.

    In the meantime, please check the Google Play Store for updates to your default browser, Android System WebView, Google Play Services, and Minecraft. After installing any available updates, restart the phone and test the sign-in again. You can also temporarily disable any VPN, ad-blocking service, or Private DNS and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network-related interruption.
