Verification code issues

I am trying to make an account for my daughter.

Every time we try, the account verification code is either not accepted, or we end up in an infinite re-captcha loop.

    Hi @Ricky Gallagher

This can happen when the account-creation session becomes stuck or repeated verification requests trigger a temporary security block.

    Please try the following:

    1. Stop the current sign-up attempt and open a new InPrivate or Incognito browser window.
    2. Temporarily disable ad blockers, VPNs, and privacy extensions, then try again.
    3. Use a different network, such as mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
    4. Request only one new verification code and use the most recently received code. Avoid repeated requests, as Microsoft states that a high volume of attempts can cause a temporary block.
    5. If possible, choose an alternative verification method, such as email instead of SMS.

You can also run Microsoft’s verification code troubleshooter. Microsoft advises trying another verification method or network when verification is being blocked.

Once the child’s account is created, parental consent may still be required depending on the child’s age and region

Thank you for your time and hope you have a good day
