Welcome ASHISH KUMAR GUHA THAKURATA ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand you are looking for a speech recognition or voice typing tool for Bengali (India) on Windows 11.

Please make sure you already reviewed the Q&A Assist information. In addition, could you confirm:

    • Are you trying to use Windows Voice Typing (Windows + H) or Windows Speech Recognition?
    • Which Windows 11 edition and build are you currently using?

In the meantime, you can try these steps:

Option 1: Check Voice Typing availability.

    • Press Windows + H.
    • See whether Bengali (India) is available as an input language for voice typing.

Option 2: Install all available language features.

    • In Language options for Bengali (India), install any available Optional language features.
    • Restart the device afterward.

    Option 3: Run Windows Update.

    • Go to Settings > Windows Update.
    • Select Check for updates.
    • Install all available updates and optional updates.
    • Restart the device.

    Option 4: Re-add the language.

    • Remove Bengali (India).
    • Restart Windows.
    • Add Bengali (India) again and check whether additional language features become available.

Windows supports Bengali input for Bengali (India), but the provided information does not show an installable speech recognition tool for Bangla/Bengali (India).

    What is available:

    1. In Settings > Time & language > Language & region, add Bengali (India).
    2. This adds Bengali typing support.
    3. To type in Bengali script, open Language options for Bengali (India) and add the Bangla Phonetic keyboard if needed.
    4. This does not require changing the Windows display language.

For Microsoft 365, a Bangla (Bengali India) language accessory pack is available, but it provides partial localization and proofing tools, not a Windows Bengali speech recognition tool.

There is also community feedback requesting Bengali voice dictation, which indicates this capability is being requested by users.
