Is Copilot image editor tool is down. Is it truly down and when will it be available?

I have been trying now for about 18 hours and have been getting the following message from Copilot: iI couldn’t apply the image change because image editing was unavailable. I left the deck unchanged.

    I understand the image-editing feature has remained unavailable for about 18 hours. However, this is a public community forum, so users here cannot confirm Microsoft’s live service status or provide an estimated restoration time.

    Could you confirm whether the same image edit fails:

    • In a new presentation
    • In PowerPoint for the web
    • With a different image

    Please also share your PowerPoint version under File > Account. If the issue occurs across presentations and both desktop and web versions, report it through Help > Feedback so Microsoft receives the diagnostic information.
