A family of Microsoft presentation graphics products that offer tools for creating presentations and adding graphic effects like multimedia objects and special effects with text.
To have audio on every slide, record narration for the whole presentation or record separate audio on each slide.
If only Slide 1 has audio now, use one of these methods:
- Record narration for all slides
- Go to Slide Show.
- Select the arrow on Record.
- Choose From Beginning to record from the first slide, or From Current Slide to start where needed.
- Select Start Recording.
- Speak on each slide and advance through the presentation.
- To finish, right-click the slide and select End Show.
- The recorded timings are saved automatically.
- Add audio to individual slides
- In Normal view, select a slide.
- Select Insert > Audio.
- Choose an audio file.
- On the Playback tab, set Start to Automatically if the audio should begin when that slide appears.
- Repeat for each slide that needs its own audio.
- If the same audio should continue across slides
- Select the first slide.
- Add the audio clip.
- On the Playback tab, select Play Across Slides or Play in Background.
If the goal is narration on every slide, the first method is the correct one. If the goal is background music across the deck, use the third method.
