Linking Forza 5 to PS5 not working

I have followed all the steps and successfully linked my Microsoft account to Forza 5, according to my emails, however the game keeps asking me to link. I’m going around in circles.

    Please can you try turning your PlayStation console off completely and clearing its local cache. Once you have done this, please turn the console back on and try linking your Microsoft account in the game again.
