defender doesnt show

hello i got a probleme that microsoft defender icon doesnt show at the task bar but it still works also doesnt show when i go to task manager and then startup im just scared if its like a virus or something idk.User's image

  1. Check Settings --› Personalization --› Taskbar --› Other system tray icons and make sure Windows Security is enabled.
  2. You can also check Task Manager --› Startup apps for Windows Security notification icon. If it is disabled, enable it and restart the PC.
  3. If the icon is still missing, press Win + R and run: C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealthSystray.exe

If the icon appears after running it, the Windows Security notification component is working, but it may not be starting automatically with Windows.

    Hi,

    If you can open Windows Security and everything looks fine, follow the steps in the Q&A; the Windows Security tray icon is likely disabled if the issue hasn't been resolved yet.

    Go to the Microsoft Store > Downloads > Get updates and wait for all apps to update.

    Restart your PC, then check if it worked by opening Task Manager, going to the Startup tab, and seeing if SecurityHealthSystray.exe is active.
