What programs are expiring with the Office 365 subscription?

I have the Office 365 subscription and have been notified that some of the Publisher programs are expiring on 10/1/26 which includes the WORD. Will I still have Excel and if not, how to I get the latest Excel to transfer over my current files?

The retirement of Microsoft Publisher does not mean that Word or Excel will also expire.

Microsoft Publisher is being retired on October 1, 2026, but Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the other Microsoft 365 apps included with your subscription will continue to be available as long as your Microsoft 365 subscription remains active.
