Sleep Option has disappeared and other suggestions for restoring it do not work

Yesterday, the "sleep" option disappeared from my power options. When I go into control panel--hardware and sound--power options--system settings to define power buttons/change what the power buttons do, the only options are shut down, hibernate, turn off the display, or do nothing. Sleep is not an option on this menu or in the regular settings menu where you decide what you want your power settings to be. As of two days ago, I could hit the windows button the machine and then select sleep to put the computer to sleep. Now, that option is gone with seemingly no way to restore it. I am on a desktop, so there is no physical sleep button I can push.

I quick fix for it should be there.

Please supply the following Information.

Right-click the Start button and Choose the Run option

Type in msinfo32

Press enter.

Take a screenshot of the System Summary window and post it in the next reply.

I was able to get myself back up and running. For some reason, after the last windows update, my graphics card driver got deleted (?? how?). Reinstalling it fixed the issue.
