Founders Hub business verification rejected by automated fraud check — requesting the rejection reason code and a manual review
I'm the founder of Civic Topography LLC, a South Carolina company registered on 18 June 2026. I applied to Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub and my business verification was rejected at the payment step. The rejection came from an automated fraud check triggered by a failed card payment on my end — not, as far as I can tell, from any review of the company's credentials.
I have since resolved the payment issue and updated the billing information. I have also provided the company details, website, my LinkedIn profile, and the Azure subscription ID, and on 3 September I uploaded the Certificate of Organization and the IRS EIN letter.
Support request 2609030040000410 has been open since 2 September with no reply. Milestone 1 was granted and my $200 credit is active; it's the business-verification milestone that's stuck.
Two things I'm asking for:
- The specific rejection reason code recorded against my application, so I can address the actual objection rather than guess at it.
- A manual review of the verification by the Startups team, given that the rejection was an automated payment-fraud flag on a payment that has since gone through.
