    Hi Chunchu Naresh

Based on your description, the cursor/pointer appears white in both Excel and the New Outlook for Windows, making it difficult to see. Since the issue occurs in multiple Microsoft 365 applications, this is likely related to Windows pointer settings, graphics rendering, or Office display behavior rather than a problem with a specific app.

Here are some recommended steps you can try:

Change the Windows Text Select Cursor

If the issue is related to the text insertion cursor (I-beam), try changing the cursor to a higher-contrast version:

Press Windows + R > Type main.cpl and press Enter.

Go to the Pointers tab > Under Customize, select Text Select > Click Browse > Select beam_r.cur > Click Apply > OK.

    Change the mouse pointer scheme

Press Windows + R > Type main.cpl and press Enter.

Select the Pointers tab > Choose a different pointer scheme (for example, Windows Black or Magnified) > Click Apply and OK.

Increase pointer size or change pointer color

Open Settings > Accessibility > Mouse pointer and touch > Increase the pointer size.

Try selecting a different pointer color (Black or Inverted). This can help when the white Excel cell-selection cursor blends into the worksheet background.

    Disable Office hardware graphics acceleration

For Excel: Open Excel > Go to File > Options > Advanced.

Under Display, enable Disable hardware graphics acceleration > Restart Excel and check the result.

Check for Updates and Test in Safe Mode

Make sure Windows and Microsoft 365 Apps are fully updated, then restart the device.

Press Windows + R, type excel /safe, and press Enter.

If the cursor appears normally in Safe Mode, the issue may be caused by an add-in or customization (Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC | Microsoft Support)

If the issue persists, could you please share some information::

    • Windows version
    • Office version/build (File > Account > About Excel)
    • Whether the cursor is white only inside Excel and Outlook or throughout Windows
    • Whether the issue occurs on all monitors or only one monitor

I hope this information helps and look forward to your response.
