Hi, I’m trying to deploy Claude Opus 5 v2 in Foundry in West US 3 and it just won’t finish. It sits in Creating for a few minutes and then changes to Failed. There is no real explanation, properties.error is null and the Activity Log only shows ResourceOperationFailure / InternalServerError.
It’s a paid PAYG subscription on Tier 1 and the full 40K TPM / 40 RPM is still available. GPT-5.6 Sol deploys fine in the same resource. I accepted the terms, tried through the portal and ARM, deleted the failed deployment and tried again. Same result. The Anthropic-hosted v1 version failed too.
Honestly I’m out of ideas at this point 😅 It looks like something is blocked on Microsoft’s side, possibly an entitlement or risk flag. Has anyone run into this? Is there any way to get the real backend error instead of the generic InternalServerError?
