Issue in Teams Draft Chat

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

We are experiencing an issue with unsent messages in Microsoft Teams.

While composing a message, the unfinished message may disappear after only a few minutes if the user pauses, switches to another screen, or temporarily navigates away from the chat. When the user returns, the message is no longer available as a draft.

This is particularly inconvenient because messages to managers often contain detailed information and must be reviewed carefully before being sent. Pausing or switching screens to verify information is a normal part of the process.

Please advise whether Teams has an automatic draft-saving feature and whether there are any settings or policies that can prevent unfinished messages from being lost.

    Can you reproduce the issue consistently, and what exact actions cause the draft to disappear?

    Does the same behavior occur when using Teams on the web or another device?
