i am using windows 10 pro. i just created my account and it is blocking me from some websites that i want to use. i didn't even make a family account and don't know what to do. it won't let me change my settings in family because i don't see dots and if i hit family settings, it just keeps me on the same screen.

    Hello Stephen Brenner,

Thank you for posting your question.

Before troubleshooting further, I would like to clarify one detail because it affects what support can be provided:

Are you signed in with a personal Microsoft account (Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, etc.) or a work/school account provided by an organization?

In the meantime, please check these quick items:

    • Open "Settings" > "Accounts" > "Your info" and let us know what type of account is shown.
    • Visit Microsoft Family Safety and check whether your account appears as a member of a family group.
    • Tell me which websites are being blocked and the exact error message you see in the browser.
    • Let me know which browser you are using (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

Once you provide those details, I can suggest the next troubleshooting steps.
