Outlook for web (browser) cannot save changes to my Safe Senders list

This has recently cropped up. I have my emails set up to go to junk if the sender is not in my contact list or safe senders list. This has worked for years. Recently though, I am unable to save changes to my safe senders list. When I try to do it from within a junk email by selecting "It's not Junk" it gives me an error that says "Can't add to Safe Sender list. We couldn't add this sender. Please try again later".

So...I figure my Safe Sender list is full. I then go to File>Settings>Mail>Junk email. Under "Safe Senders and Domains", I edit the list down, removing a bunch of old addresses. As soon as I click "Save", I get this error: "Couldn't save changes. Something went wrong. Please try again later."

So I am stuck. If my safe sender list is indeed full, I can't remove any entries because it won't allow me to save changes to the list.

    Hello,

It does appear I am seeing a cluster of reports of such issues here in the forum. I suspect that it has to do with the recent Outlook incident that's not completely cleared as of today.

You said it didn't work on the web, have you tried email app like New Outlook or Classic Outlook instead?
