Azure for Students: Stuck on "Not Eligible" error when signing in with verified GitHub Student Pack

Hello,

I am trying to activate my Azure for Students subscription using my GitHub Student Developer Pack, but I am completely blocked by an account eligibility error.

My Details:

• GitHub Status: Fully verified with a "Verified Student" badge.
• Email Setup: My institute email is verified inside my GitHub account.

The Issue:

Whenever I try to sign up via the "Sign in with GitHub" option, the portal completely skips the student registration form and immediately throws the error: "You're not eligible for an Azure free account."

Because of this automated flag, the portal is hard-locked. It no longer gives me any options to verify my identity or proceed with my active student status.

Request:

I would like a support engineer to review my account status, clear the incorrect "Not Eligible" fraud/eligibility block on my profile, and fix the backend authentication so I can successfully log in and activate my credits directly through my verified GitHub link.
