Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
For Microsoft for Startups verification and program-related issues, the supported path is to submit a request through the Microsoft for Startups support flow rather than asking for public escalation.
Use the path that matches the startup experience:
- If the startup joined after May 29, 2026 and uses the Azure portal:
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- Go to the startup overview page.
- In Overview, find Your Microsoft team.
- Select Get program support.
- If the startup joined prior to May 29, 2026 and uses the Microsoft for Startups Portal:
- Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
- Select the ? icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Submit a Support Ticket.
- Attach the relevant verification documents or screenshots of the error.
If the Get program support option is missing in Azure, use the Microsoft for Startups Portal support ticket flow to submit the request privately with the verification documents attached.
Microsoft for Startups Program Support covers program, benefits, portal, and verification/compliance issues, including business or domain verification. Azure technical support through Help + support in the Azure portal is intended for Azure technical issues such as product errors, billing, subscription issues, outages, and runtime failures, not Microsoft for Startups program verification.
