I now have the server settings for Netvigator email. I want to sync my third-party Netvigator address to the new Outlook. Who can help me with this at Outlook?

    Hello Merle Linda Wolin,

You should first be able to check whether the Netvigator account can be added directly in New Outlook.

In New Outlook, go to View > View settings > Accounts > Your accounts, select Add Account, enter the full Netvigator email address, and then select Continue. Follow the sign-in prompts that appear.

If Outlook does not detect the account settings automatically, please confirm with Netvigator that IMAP access is enabled and that the incoming and outgoing server names, ports, encryption settings, and authentication method are correct. Some email providers may also require an app-specific password or a setting to be enabled through their webmail portal.

For reference, see Microsoft’s official guide: Add an email account to Outlook for Windows

Could you also let me know whether Netvigator provided IMAP, POP, or Exchange settings, and share the exact error message shown when you try to add the account? Please hide your email address, password, and server credentials before posting any screenshot.

If the account still cannot be added in New Outlook after the provider confirms the settings, you can temporarily use Netvigator webmail or Classic Outlook while checking whether the provider’s authentication method is compatible with New Outlook. While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.

For new Outlook for Windows, third-party account syncing is supported for Gmail and Yahoo. The documented cloud sync support in new Outlook for Windows does not list generic IMAP accounts such as Netvigator.

    What can be done:

    1. In new Outlook, try adding the Netvigator account:
      • Open View tab > View settings or File > Account info.
      • Select Accounts > Your accounts > Add Account.
      • Enter the Netvigator email address.
    2. If automatic setup does not work, use classic Outlook and add it manually with the server settings:
      • Open classic Outlook.
      • Select File > Add Account.
      • Enter the email address.
      • Select Advanced options.
      • Check Let me set up my account manually.
      • Select Connect.
      • Choose IMAP.
      • Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings, then complete sign-in.
    3. If the account is an Exchange account, the Exchange server name must come from the organization that provided the email address.

For Outlook help, the practical path is to use classic Outlook for manual IMAP/POP setup when a third-party provider is not supported in new Outlook.
