Azure for Students verification failed after account was linked to wrong tenant

Hello,

I am currently a student at Noroff and I am trying to activate Azure for Students using my personal Microsoft account.

I used my official Noroff student email address to verify my student status. However, I receive the following error when trying to complete the Azure for Students registration:

“Unable to complete Azure for Students verification.”

I noticed that my personal Microsoft account is also registered as a Guest in the Høgskulen på Vestlandet (HVL) tenant.

I now believe this is a legitimate old guest association from several years ago. At that time, a student at Høgskulen på Vestlandet invited me to access study materials through their Microsoft environment. I have never been a student at Høgskulen på Vestlandet.

My current educational institution is Noroff, and my Noroff student email is the email I used for the Azure for Students academic verification.

I currently have no Azure subscription and no personal Azure directory/subscription that allows me to create a normal Azure support request.

I also tried the Azure/Education support route. It redirected me to Microsoft Engage Center, where I initially appeared under the Høgskulen på Vestlandet tenant as a Guest. I was able to switch to my personal tenant, but Engage Center does not provide me with a support workspace.

Could the old Høgskulen på Vestlandet guest tenant association be interfering with my Azure for Students registration?

If my Azure for Students academic verification record is stuck or associated with the wrong tenant/signup attempt, could a Microsoft moderator please help escalate this to the appropriate Azure for Students / Subscription Management team so that my academic verification record can be reset or released?

I would like to restart the Azure for Students registration using my personal Microsoft account and verify my student status correctly through Noroff.

I can provide my Microsoft account email address, Noroff student email address, Session ID, screenshots, and proof of enrollment privately if required.
