Font will not change size on one page in my document

Dear Margaret,

The most likely cause is autofit, also called copyfitting, on that particular text box. Publisher is shrinking the text back to 10.5 pt so it fits within the box. The fact that it settles on an odd size like 10.5 rather than a size you chose is a good sign that this is what is happening.

Try this:

1. Click inside the affected text box.
2. Open Text Box Tools > Format.
3. Select Text Fit, and check whether Shrink Text On Overflow or Best Fit is currently selected.
4. Choose Do Not AutoFit.
5. Select the text and set your preferred font size again.

With copyfitting off, Publisher should stop resizing the text on its own. If the text then overflows the box, you can enlarge the box, reduce its internal margins, shorten the text, or link it to another text box.

If Do Not AutoFit is already selected, could you let me know whether that text box is linked to another one, and whether the whole box reverts to 10.5 pt or just one paragraph? A screenshot of the text box and the Text Fit setting would help too, with any personal information hidden before posting.
