Bing Merchant Center Products Not Showing After Google Merchant Center Import

I have recently created and approved a Microsoft/Bing Merchant Center account for my website. My Merchant Center store has already been approved, and I am trying to import my existing product data from Google Merchant Center into Microsoft Merchant Center.

The Google Merchant Center account already contains my products, and I initiated the Google Merchant Center import into Bing/Microsoft Merchant Center.

However, it has now been approximately 48 hours since the Microsoft Merchant Center account was created/approved and the product import was initiated, but I still do not see any products/offers appearing in my Bing Merchant Center catalog.

Here are the details:

  • Microsoft/Bing Merchant Center account: Approved
  • Google Merchant Center: Already has my product catalog
  • Import method: Google Merchant Center → Microsoft/Bing Merchant Center
  • Time elapsed: Approximately 48 hours
  • Products visible in Microsoft Merchant Center: 0 / no products currently displayed
  • Website: Erixum Packaging
  • Target market: United States
  • Product type: Custom packaging products
  • Google Merchant Center: Products are already available there

I would like to understand whether this is normal processing time or whether there is an issue with the import.

My questions

  1. How long does Microsoft Merchant Center normally take to import products from Google Merchant Center for a newly approved account?
  2. Is it normal for the product catalog to remain empty after 48 hours?
  3. Does Microsoft perform an additional review of imported products before they become visible?
  4. Where can I check whether the Google Merchant Center import is still processing?
  5. How can I verify whether Microsoft actually received my Google Merchant Center product feed?
  6. If the import is showing 0 products, does that mean the import failed, or could the products still be under review?
  7. Are there any additional requirements in Microsoft Merchant Center that my Google Merchant Center products must meet before they can be imported?
  8. Could product attributes such as GTIN, MPN, brand, identifier_exists, shipping, availability, or product category prevent the products from appearing?
  9. Does the fact that my products are custom packaging products and do not have GTINs affect the import?
  10. If the products are still not visible after 72 hours, what specific steps should I take to troubleshoot or restart the import?
  11. Should I wait for the current import to finish, or should I create a separate Microsoft Merchant Center feed manually?
  12. Could there be an account, website/domain, feed, or policy-review issue that is preventing the products from appearing?

I would appreciate guidance on how to determine whether my catalog is still processing, under review, rejected, failed to import, or simply not yet synchronized from Google Merchant Center.

If there is a specific feed/import report or diagnostic page I should check, please let me know where I can find it in the current Microsoft Merchant Center interface.I have recently created and approved a Microsoft/Bing Merchant Center account for my website. Hello Shahzaib Khan,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!

I understand that you have successfully created and received approval for your Microsoft Merchant Center store and that you initiated a product import from your existing Google Merchant Center account approximately 48 hours ago. However, you are currently seeing 0 products in Microsoft Merchant Center.

Based on the information you provided, this is not the expected behavior. In most cases, products imported from Google Merchant Center should begin appearing in Microsoft Merchant Center within 24 hours after a successful import has been initiated.

To help determine whether the import was completed successfully, I recommend checking the following:

    1. Verify the feed in Microsoft Merchant Center
    • Go to Merchant Center > Select your Store > Feeds.
    • If the import was successfully created, you should see a feed named "Google Feed File" or a similar imported feed.
    • If only the Default Catalog is displayed and no Google feed is present, this may indicate that the import was not successfully established.
    1. Check the Import section
    • Navigate to Merchant Center > Select your Store > Import.
    • Review whether there is an active or scheduled Google Merchant Center import.
    • Check for any import status messages, errors, or failed import attempts.

Based on the information you provided, it appears that the import may not have completed successfully. If there are no products displayed in the Summary tab, no products listed in the Products tab, and no scheduled import running in the Import tab of your Merchant Center store, I recommend reinitiating the catalog import from Google Merchant Center.

A successful import should create an entry within the Import tab and once processed, the imported products should begin appearing within your Microsoft Merchant Center catalog.

Steps to reinitiate the Google Merchant Center import:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft Advertising account.
    2. Navigate to Merchant Center.
    3. Select your approved Microsoft Merchant Center store.
    4. Open the Import tab within the store.
    5. Select Import from Google Merchant Center.
    6. Sign in to the Google account associated with your Google Merchant Center.
    7. Grant the required permissions when prompted.
    8. Select the Google Merchant Center account that contains your product catalog.
    9. Choose the appropriate country and target market settings for the import.
    10. Review the import settings and select Import or Save & Schedule.
    11. Once the import has been successfully created, an import entry should appear under the Import tab, where you can monitor its status and review any processing results or errors.
