I cannot comment on articles.

I cannot comment on MSN articles. No matter how many times I try, I get stuck in an endless loop of posting a comment, being asked to sign in, signing in, posting the comment again, then repeat. No matter how many times I sign in, it never works and never lets me comment. When you click on what would be my community profile, it always just says "Join Now" and when I sign in, it acts like I never did.

    Hi Rogue Tooling

The fact that your profile continues to show "Join Now" even after successfully signing in may be an important clue. Does the same behavior occur if you:

    • Open MSN in an InPrivate window (Ctrl+Shift+N)?
    • Try a different browser entirely?
    • Check whether third-party cookies are blocked in your browser?

If the issue occurs across multiple browsers and InPrivate mode, that would suggest the problem is more likely related to the MSN commenting/community service or community profile state rather than an Edge-specific sign-in issue. In that case, the Feedback option on MSN would be the appropriate escalation path for investigation. Similar reports from other users have described successful sign-in followed by MSN continuing to display "Join Now" or repeatedly requesting authentication when attempting to comment.

This MSN commenting sign-in loop is typically handled on the MSN side, not through Microsoft Q&A or Windows settings. For MSN article comments, the supported escalation path is the Feedback option on the MSN page.

    Try these self-service steps first:

    1. In Microsoft Edge, make sure the browser is up to date:
      • Go to Settings > About Microsoft Edge
      • Install any available update
    2. Check Windows date and time settings:
      • Go to Settings > Time & language > Date & time
      • Turn on Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically
    3. Sign out fully from the Microsoft account session:
      • Go to account.microsoft.com
      • Sign out completely
      • Close the browser
      • Reopen it and sign in again
    4. Clear browser sign-in data that can cause session loops:
      • Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete in Edge
      • Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
      • Clear the data, then try commenting again
    5. If MSN still keeps showing Join Now or sends the session back to sign-in, report it directly from MSN:
      • Open an MSN page with comments
      • Use the Feedback option at the bottom right
      • Describe the endless sign-in loop, that commenting never completes, and that the profile keeps showing Join Now after sign-in

If the issue is specific to MSN comments or account restriction, only the MSN team can investigate that side. Moderator guidance in similar cases states that MSN comments and moderation are controlled by MSN systems, and the MSN feedback mechanism is the route to get it reviewed.
