If feedback appears to go missing or reappear later, the supported checks are:
- In Feedback Hub, go to Feedback > My feedback and review the current status of each item.
- Confirm the account is signed in. A reported cause of missing past feedback in Feedback Hub is not being signed in to the Microsoft account.
- If the feedback status changed, check the banner/status on the item. Possible states include:
- We've got it
- Looking into it / We're looking into this
- Working on it / We're working on this
- Needs more info / We need more details
- Changes made / We've made improvements / Great News! We've fixed this
- We've closed this
- Already supported
- Not right now
- If the item is in We need more details or Needs more info, add the missing details, screenshots, or diagnostics requested in the Microsoft response.
- If the feedback was submitted publicly in the Feedback web portal, review My Feedback there as well. Public feedback can be moderated, and feedback that violates the Feedback Code of Conduct may be hidden from public view.
- For new or updated submissions, include screenshots and logs when possible. Microsoft states these help product teams understand and investigate feedback.
What is supported about visibility and updates:
- Feedback sent to Microsoft is forwarded to relevant product teams for review.
- Similar reports can be grouped together.
- Through Windows Feedback Hub and the Feedback web portal, Microsoft can update the status of feedback and respond to it.
- Status changes can generate notifications.
- Public feedback can be hidden from public view if it violates the code of conduct.
The context does not provide a recovery method for editing an earlier hidden draft or viewing who specifically handled a feedback item.
