How do I select to see just unread emails, as this option was available in the old version. How do I have in Outlook the option to have "Shapes" in an email?

    Hi Vulsan

For viewing only unread emails in New Outlook for Windows, you can:

    1. Open the mail folder you want to view (e.g., Inbox folder)
    2. Select Filter at the top of the message list.
    3. Choose Unread. User's image

To return to the normal view, select the Unread filter again or change the filter back to All.

Regarding Shapes in an email, this feature is currently not available in New Outlook for Windows. Unlike classic Outlook, New Outlook does not support inserting or drawing shapes (such as arrows, rectangles, circles, or text boxes) directly within the email body.

    As a workaround, you can:

    • Create the shape in another application such as Word, PowerPoint, or Paint.
    • Save it as an image or take a screenshot.
    • Insert the image into your email using Insert > Pictures. User's image

    In new Outlook for Windows:

    • To show only unread emails:
      1. Select the mail folder to filter.
      2. Near the upper corner of the message list, select Filter > Unread.
      3. The filter button changes to Unread to show that the filter is active.
      4. To return to all messages, select the Unread filter button again.
    • For Shapes in an email:
      • New Outlook for Windows currently does not have the option to draw shapes directly in the body of an email like classic Outlook.
      • A workaround is to open a new message, select Insert, and use Graphics or Table instead.
