I would need assistance how to unlock my lock screen customization, because no matter if i google it its always school/work accounts I need to remove but i don't got any and I'm using personal separate account. But I do have other sign in account that isn't connected to my personal account, but it is the first account on here and I don't know if mom's account is a work one. (it doesn't have gmail in it)

I does say, "Some of these settings are managed by your organization." While the customization is greyed out. I would hope to get some help In need of this

A common cause of “Some of these settings are managed by your organization” is that a work or school account was added to Windows, even on a personal PC.

Check this first:

Open Settings.
Go to Accounts > Access work or school.
Look for any account listed there, including the other sign-in account on the PC.
If an organization account appears, select it and choose Disconnect.
Restart the PC.

Important difference:

If an app sign-in was added with “No, this app only”, the account is only used in that app and does not get added to Windows.
If “Yes” was selected when signing in, the account is added to the device and the device can be registered with an organization, which can cause organization-managed settings.

If the device was registered and access to that device is no longer available through Windows, the device can also be managed from My Account at https://myaccount.microsoft.com/device-list if that account is a work or school account.

If no account appears under Access work or school, the provided material does not include another supported fix for lock screen customization being greyed out on a personal Windows 11 device.

If there are no accounts listed under Access work or school, another possibility is that a setting on the device is restricting lock screen personalization rather than an organizational account.

You can try the following:

Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc and press Enter (if available).
Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization.
Check Prevent changing lock screen and logon image.
If it is enabled, set it to Not Configured and restart the PC.

I tried this before when google gave me this but it didn't work, It did work on "regedit", but I could not delete or modify the "nobackgroundlockscreen" to 0.

Although I am using Window 11 Home.

Thank you for sharing the screenshots. Based on what I can see, the issue may not be with the NoBackgroundLockScreen value anymore.

In your Registry Editor screenshot, I can see a value named NoChangingLockScreen set to 1 under the Personalization key. A value of 1 typically indicates that lock screen customization is disabled. The fact that Windows reports "Unable to save permission changes on Personalization. Access is denied." suggests the registry key itself may be owned by a protected system account rather than your user account.

You could try one additional check:

In Registry Editor, right-click the Personalization key and select Permissions.

Click Advanced.

Check the Owner at the top of the window.

If the owner is SYSTEM or TrustedInstaller, note that information.

Also check whether Administrators has Full Control listed in the advanced permissions.

Since modifying permissions is already being blocked, I would avoid forcing ownership changes until we understand why the key is protected.

A couple of questions that may help narrow this down:

Is this a PC you purchased new, or was it previously used by someone else?
