If Minecraft multiplayer is blocked, check these settings first:

    1. Sign in to the Xbox privacy settings page for the account that will play.
    2. Make sure these are set to Allow:
      • Join multiplayer games
      • Cross-network play
    3. If the account is a child account in a Microsoft Family, the adult organizer may need to change those permissions.
    4. On the PC, sign out and back in with the same account in this order:
      • Microsoft Store
      • Xbox app
      • Minecraft Launcher
    5. Clear the Microsoft Store cache:
      • Press Win + R
      • Run wsreset
    6. Restart the PC and try Minecraft again.

If the multiplayer button is still disabled, remove and re-add the Microsoft account on the device:

    1. Sign out of Minecraft and the Xbox app.
    2. Go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts.
    3. Remove the account.
    4. Add it again.
    5. Sign back in to the Xbox app and Minecraft.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

    • What is the exact game you are trying to play?
    • Where did you download the game from (Microsoft Store/Xbox App, Steam, Epic Games, a dedicated launcher)?
    • Does an error code or specific message appear when you try to join servers?
    • Is your account managed by an adult through Microsoft Family Safety?

    Looking forward to your reply.
