Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.
This alert on Acer devices usually comes from Acer's pre-installed software called Acer Quick Access (or Quick Access Service), which is why Windows settings do not control it.
1 = You can disable the Acer Service as instructed below:
- Press "Windows + R", type
services.msc, and press Enter; - Find "Acer Quick Access", "Acer System Agent Service", "Quick Access Service", or "QASvc" in the list;
- Right-click the service and select "Properties";
- Change the "Startup type" to "Disabled";
- Click "Stop" under "Service status", then click "OK".
This should stop that alert immediately.
2 = You may need to turn it off in Startup settings in Task Manager:
- Press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" to open Task Manager;
- Select "Startup apps" from the left menu;
- Locate "Acer Quick Access", "QAAdmin", or "QASvc";
- Right-click the item and select "Disable";
- Restart (not shutdown) the laptop.
3 = Alternatively, you can uninstall Acer Quick Access:
- Press "Windows + I" to open "Settings", then select "Apps > Installed apps";
- Search for "Acer Quick Access" or "Quick Access Service";
- Click the three dots next to the entry and click "Uninstall".
Note: Service names can vary slightly depending on the exact model year. If you cannot find these specific names, let me know or share a screenshot of your running services so I can help you identify the right one.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
