Blocked Apps

Ooooh you got "that" update. hehe. Well lets see here. You said you ran the program fine until the update. It is not a new install or an install file correct? If it is an install file all you do is right click on the exe installer and choose unblock, thats it. Now If it is indeed an existing program then maybe some how it got removed from the fire wall allowance.

Then Press Ctrl+R type control.exe enter. press Ctrl+L then Ctrl+V press enter.

Now add the program to the windows defender allow list.

open Settings, go to Apps > Advanced app settings, and set the drop-down menu next to Choose where to get apps to Anywhere

The last one would be to just run the program as administrator I provided a screen shot of what that looks like. You right click on the exe file and choose compatibility click on the run as admin box then choose change for all users and then choose run as admin.

Try all of that one of them hopefully one should work. After you tried it all just restart the computer and see if it will magically work. The last option would be to uninstall the update but as we know the updates are automatic and would just loop over and over on updating it self putting you back into this spot.

Since the issue started after a recent update and the application is showing as blocked, it would be helpful to identify exactly what is doing the blocking before making changes. The current thread does not include the exact error message, which is an important clue.

In the meantime, you can try these quick checks:

1, Run the application as Administrator

• Right-click the ChiroTouch shortcut.
• Select Run as administrator.

2, Check if Windows blocked the file

• Right-click the ChiroTouch executable or shortcut.
• Select Properties.
• If you see an Unblock checkbox on the General tab, check it and select Apply.

Since ChiroTouch is a third-party application, verify whether there are any compatibility updates or guidance available for the version you are using.

Please post the exact error message, a screenshot, and your Windows version (press Win + R, type winver then press Enter). That information will help narrow down whether the block is related to Windows security, application compatibility, or the application's own protection mechanisms.
