A cloud-based task management app from Microsoft that helps users organize and manage daily tasks across devices.
If the purchase was Microsoft 365, it does not install as a single app called “Windows 365” on the desktop. The Office apps are installed individually, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Try this:
- In Windows, use the search box on the taskbar.
- Type an app name such as Word.
- Select it from the results.
If Microsoft 365 was purchased online directly from Microsoft, there is no product key. To confirm the install source and reinstall if needed:
- Go to Services & subscriptions at https://account.microsoft.com/services.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the purchase.
- Find the Microsoft 365 purchase and select Install.
If the software was bought directly from Microsoft as a digital download, it can also be found in Order history, where the entry shows Product key/Install for eligible software.
If the expectation was a desktop icon specifically, the available context only confirms how to find Office apps through Windows search, not how to restore a missing desktop shortcut.
