Onenote Android App; Having Issues

With full quality Wi-Fi connection, OneNote says Working offline. Sign in to sync your notes. When i click sign in, it says Error Something went wrong [9hewh]. I then tried to sign out and back in and now I can't access my old notes or sync from other devices. Is there a way to fix this? I mostly need my old notes but fixing the syncing would be fantastic as well.

    This appears to be a broader OneNote for Android sign-in issue associated with error 9hehw, rather than a problem with your Wi-Fi or password. Similar reports show that reinstalling, clearing app data, or using older versions may not resolve it. Android OneNote app in offline mode, Sign In yields "Something went wrong. [9hehw]" message

    Here are some suggestions you can try:

    Sign in to OneNote for the web using the same Microsoft account. Check whether your old notebooks and notes are available there. If they are, your notes remain stored online even though the Android app cannot currently access them.

    Also check Notebook List in the Android app instead of Recent Pages. In some affected cases, notebooks and syncing still work from that view. Error page when trying to login to sync notes on OneNote Android app + 404 support page

    Avoid clearing the app’s storage or reinstalling it again, especially if you have recently edited notes that may not have synchronized.

    In OneNote, select your profile picture and Send feedback to Microsoft. Include error 9hehw, a screenshot, your Android version, and the OneNote app version.

    For now, using OneNote on the web or another synchronized device is the safest option for accessing your existing notes.

    Hello,

    I have the same problem on my Motorola G86, though Onenote on my Samasung tab S10 synchs correctly.
    I found a workaround to sync again but the connection error remains.

    I opened Onedrive app, in 'My Files' I opened the folder with the .one files of the different notes I have in the app.
    Click on one file and Onenote opens it.
    Launch synching of the notes in Onenote, ...

    Boom, you are synched again.
    I Modified notes on my phone and on my laptop, synching works.

    But if the app closes, your account connection is still refused and you have to do the workaround again.
