Microsoft for Startups verification failed — Program Support option missing

Hello Microsoft team,

I owned a Canadian startup. I recently completed the startup verification process in the new Microsoft for Startups Preview experience in Azure Portal, but the verification failed with the message:

“We couldn’t verify your startup.”

No reason was provided for the verification failure.

I am trying to contact Microsoft for Startups Program Support to understand the specific reason for the failed verification. However, the documented “Your Microsoft Team” / “Get program support” option is not available anywhere in my Microsoft for Startups page.

I also tried Azure Help + Support → Create a support request, but the flow only provides generic self-help and billing/subscription content and does not allow me to create a Microsoft for Startups verification support case.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate this case to the Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Verification team and help me understand the specific reason why the startup verification failed?

I can provide my Azure subscription information, startup account details, verification screenshot, and company registration documents privately if required.

Thank you.

    Hi Yun Shui Dao,

Since the verification has already failed and the “Get program support” option is missing, this is not something that can be corrected through a normal Azure billing or technical support request.

Microsoft’s current Startups guidance says program-related issues, including application status and verification, should go through Microsoft for Startups Program Support. If that support entry is not appearing in the new portal experience, I would wait for a Microsoft Q&A moderator to review the post and help route the issue to the appropriate Startups team.

Keep the verification screenshot, startup/account details and company registration documents ready, but please do not post subscription IDs or other private information publicly.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
