How to renew Microsoft certitication before it is expired?

To renew an AZ-104 certification before it expires:

1. Renew by passing the free online renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn. There is no bridge exam and no other renewal path.
2. The renewal assessment becomes available only in the six months before the certification expires. It is not available earlier.
3. To check eligibility, sign in to the Learn profile, select the photo avatar > Profile > Certifications, and look for the blue Renew button.
4. If an email address is on the Learn profile and communication terms were accepted, renewal email notifications are sent when the certification becomes eligible for renewal.
5. The renewal assessment takes about 45 minutes and focuses on relevant updates. Preparation is done through the learning modules on the certification’s renewal page on Microsoft Learn.
6. Retakes are allowed with no limit. If the first attempts are unsuccessful, future attempts after the second require waiting at least 24 hours between tries.
7. After passing, the certification expiration date is updated immediately on the Microsoft Learn profile and is extended for one year.
