I am having trouble activating all Microsoft applications after a software update on Mac. I uninstalled everything, re-installed the newest version, signed in and out and in again and it is still the same. I can view but not work. I saw the note that Microsoft seems to be working on it but need to know how long this will take and what else I can do on my mac??

Which version of macOS do you have? For Microsoft Office to run, you will need macOS 12 or later.

Regarding Office versions, you will need a license which lets you run Office release 16.83 or later. Office 2019 is an example of a product which will not work anymore, following the certificate updates from Microsoft in July.

Thanks for the version info. It seems that you have the most recent versions of both macOS and an Office subscription. There have been some reports of a temporary glitch with the activation servers. Maybe that is what you have been affected by.
