what do I need to get to do flyers once in awhile

I rarely use Word or Word office. I just need to make a flyer once or twice a year. What do you suggest?

    The most economical is one which you should already have: Apple's Pages.app which can export in a variety of file types [i.e., PDF, ePub, Word, etc.].

    For other options search the web using criteria such as mac desktop publishing software. If you intend to distribute digitally confirm that the one you choose can export in a universally compatible file type.
