how do i resolve error code OXCOO4COO3 i have been trying without success and idont know where to get an activation code

I understand how frustrating it can be when you're having trouble activating Windows 8. Since Windows 8 reached End of Service in January 2023, this product is no longer supported, but you can still try some workarounds.

Before suggesting specific fixes, could you please confirm:

Is this a retail copy, an OEM copy that came with the PC, or a volume license from a school/workplace?
Did Windows 8 activate successfully on this device before?
When you receive the error, is the code exactly 0xC004C003?

In the meantime, please check the license status:

Press Windows key + X and select "Command Prompt (Admin)".
Type: slmgr /dlv > press Enter.
Let me know what is shown for License Status and Product Key Channel.

Also, if your PC came with Windows preinstalled, you normally do not need to obtain a separate activation code, as the license may be embedded in the device firmware.
