Hi Maxine Cui,
I understand that these documents are important for customs clearance. However, please note that Microsoft Q&A is just a user-to-user support forum, limited to giving guidance on technical issues. Contributors here do not have access to product-specific compliance resources nor the power to distribute them.
That said, Microsoft does publish some documentations involving Lithium Battery UN 38.3 test summary and other battery/product-related information. The documents are mainly handled through Microsoft’s authorized compliance and commercial channels. Please check out Battery Compliance | Microsoft Legal, as well as the links below:
- Download Lithium Battery Transportation Documents from Official Microsoft Download Center
- Product environmental and safety documents | Microsoft Legal
Surface Pro Model 1866 is an older device, so some compliance documents may no longer be publicly available. If China Customs requires a model-specific MSDS/SDS and UN38.3 report for Surface Pro 1866, your best option is to contact the Microsoft entity that sold or supplied the devices to your organization, or Microsoft Support:
- Contact Microsoft Support > sign into your account.
- Type in your problem > click Get Help to make request
- Scroll down and click Contact Support to connect to an agent
- Select category and continue > you should be added to a chat queue.
- If you don't see chat option, go through another category (e.g. Billings...)
- Ask the agent to provide the battery/compliance package for Surface Pro 1866.
I wish I could help further, but the device-specific requested documents are not available through the Microsoft Q&A forum. They would need to come directly from Microsoft, compliance, or logistics teams.
