Hi Duy,

Obviously the issue that you were

having getting build 29839 is not present

in build 29648, therefore that's why 29648

installed successfully.

Hi, Duy Nguyễn

What happened is normal. Build 29648 did not “repair” the laptop by itself. The update replaced the older Insider Preview build and installed a renewed Windows Insider flight certificate. The previous certificates expired on August 11, 2026, so an older build could show expiration warnings or behave like a “timebomb.” Build 29648.1000 includes the renewed certificate, allowing Windows to work normally again and continue receiving Insider updates. The screenshot confirms that Build 29648.1000 is installed successfully. It is still an evaluation copy, and its new expiration date is November 1, 2027. That expiration notice is expected on an Insider Preview build and does not mean the laptop is damaged or that Windows activation has failed.

Keep Settings > Windows Update enabled and install newer Insider builds before the displayed expiration date. Also keep important files backed up because Experimental/Future Platforms builds can be unstable and may contain known issues. Build 29648 release notes
