When you select a question that is referenced from another list in the SharePoint response form, the sentence is omitted.

I'm using SharePoint to create a portal. With the question list and the answer list created, the answer list → the newly →created answer form proceed to the answer form.

In this answer form, you select a question from the "options based on the question list list" and answer it, but at this time, the sentence of the question is omitted.

Is there a way to see the full text when I select it?

    Hi @Mercer Thea

I’m unable to reproduce the issue on my side. I tested with a Single line of text column containing a question with 255 characters, and the full question was still displayed.

To narrow down the cause, could you please confirm the following?

    1. What is the column type of the Question column in the Question list?
    2. In the Answer list, are you using a Lookup column to reference the Question list?
    3. In the Question list, does the full question display correctly without being truncated or omitted?
    4. When you select a question in the Answer list, does the full question appear in the Lookup dropdown options, but part of the question is omitted after the question is selected and displayed in the column UI?
    5. Does the same behavior occur if you create a new Question list and a new Answer list with the same column configuration?

If possible, could you please share a few screenshots and provide a specific example, such as a sample question that displays correctly in the Question list but appears truncated or omitted after being selected in the Answer form? This information will help me better understand whether the issue is related to the column configuration, customization, or the specific list.
