Try these steps in order:
- Restart Windows first
Go to Start > Power > Restart. If Windows was recently updated, a restart can restore app installation and launch behavior. - Reset Microsoft Store
- Press Windows key + R
- Type wsreset.exe
- Select OK
- Wait for the blank Command Prompt window to close and for Microsoft Store to reopen automatically
- Search for Dexcom again in Store
- Repair or reset the Dexcom app
- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps
- Select the Dexcom app
- Select Advanced options
- Choose Repair first
- If it still fails, choose Reset
- If Dexcom is not under Installed apps, check System components
Some apps may appear under Settings > System > System components. If Dexcom appears there, open its Advanced options and use Repair or Reset. - Check whether security software is blocking the app or its uploader component
On Windows 10, some modern apps can be blocked by security software. If Dexcom or its uploader is being blocked, add the affected app to the allow list in the security software. - If Store still says it cannot find or install the app, check these conditions
- The app may no longer be available in the current country or region
- Family settings may be hiding it
- The app may be incompatible with the device
- The PC may not be authorized for Microsoft Store apps; sign in to Store with the Microsoft account used for the app
- If the app is installed but cannot be found to open it
- Select Search on the taskbar and type Dexcom
- Or press the Windows key and start typing Dexcom
- Also check Start > All apps
If the problem is specifically that Dexcom reports it cannot find its uploader, that usually points to either a broken app install, blocked app component, or a Store app state issue. The most relevant path is: Restart > wsreset.exe > Repair > Reset > check security software allow list.
