why is all my email going into conversation history folder and not my inbox

since the 26/8/ 2026 my emails have dropped into conversation history folder and not my inbox. I've checked all settings have no rules set up - please help thanks

    Thanks for posting your question.

    Even if no rules are set to move mails to the Conversation History folder, it is still recommended to verify Outlook rules to completely rule out this option. Once verified in Outlook for Mac, please also consider checking Outlook on the Web. Reviewing Sweep and other Mail Processing features like Forwarding, Automatic processing settings are also recommended if not already done. If a conversation-level action is affecting message placement, consider checking conversation actions of the affected email threads. Disable any "Always Move Conversation" behavior if present.
