I can't login to MS on my iphone 7 plus and it is stopping me from redeeming MS rewards

When I try to login to Edge or Bing on my iphone 7 Plus I get an error message and my iphone does not support the latest version of ios. The Microsoft error message is 965yb. I have to be one of the best MS Rewards user you have and this is preventing me from redeeming my rewards. Please advise what I should do and I can not afford to update my iphone at this time so that is not an option.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, especially after earning enough points to redeem a reward.

Unfortunately, if your iPhone cannot run the iOS version required by the latest Bing or Edge app, there is no setting that can make the current app compatible, and there is no supported way to bypass Bing app verification when redeeming Rewards.

You can still try the following:

Open Safari, sign in at the Microsoft account page, and confirm that your account works normally.
Clear Safari’s data under Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data, restart the iPhone, and try the Rewards redemption page.
Make sure no VPN or proxy is active and that you are redeeming in the same country or region as your Rewards account.

As a workaround, temporarily use another supported phone (if possible) with your own Microsoft account, then sign out afterward.

If another device is unavailable, please contact Microsoft Rewards Support so they can review the error and determine whether another option is available. Since this is a user-to-user forum, we cannot access your account or change its verification options, we can only share suggestions based on our findings and personal experiences.
