Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
For Microsoft for Startups program, benefit, portal access, entitlement, and verification-related issues, the supported path is Microsoft for Startups Program Support.
Since the Your Microsoft Team → Get program support entry is missing in the Azure Portal preview experience, use the Microsoft for Startups support submission flow instead:
- Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal at https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/login.
- Select the "?" icon in the top-right corner.
- Select "Submit a Support Ticket".
- Attach screenshots and the verification details needed for review.
Program Support handles:
- program onboarding
- Azure credit activation
- benefit redemption
- billing profile issues
- entitlement corrections
- portal access problems
The available documentation supports contacting Program Support for verification and account-related corrections, but it does not document a self-service way to transfer a pending applicant/owner to another Microsoft account or to reset a pending verification from the portal.
To avoid duplicate records, submit one support ticket and request review of the pending verification and applicant identity/account alignment through that secure support channel.
If the issue is specifically an Azure technical or billing problem, submit an Azure support request in the Azure Portal:
- Sign in to the Azure Portal.
- Select the "?" icon.
- Select "Help + support".
- Select "Create a support request".
