Microsoft for Startups applicant identity correction – Program Support option missing

I am using the new Microsoft for Startups PREVIEW experience in the Azure Portal. The documented “Your Microsoft Team → Get program support” option is not available. Microsoft for Startups is also unavailable in the general Azure support service selector.

My business verification is currently pending. I need to correct an applicant identity mismatch before the review is completed.

The application was submitted while signed in with my Microsoft account. However, the registered Indian sole proprietorship legally belongs to my wife. The Udyam registration, PAN details and LinkedIn profile submitted for verification belong to her. I am her spouse and the technical developer responsible for building and deploying the platform on Azure.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate this privately to Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Business Verification and advise whether Microsoft can:

Transfer the startup owner/applicant to my wife’s Microsoft account while keeping me as a technical team member; or

Reset the pending verification so it can be submitted from her account?

I can provide account identifiers and registration documents through a secure private support channel. I will not publish sensitive information here, and I do not want to create a duplicate application.

Thank you. I tried https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/login using the same Microsoft account, but it redirects me to the new Azure Portal Microsoft for Startups PREVIEW experience. That experience does not contain the “?” → “Submit a Support Ticket” option or “Your Microsoft Team” → “Get program support.”

The generic Azure Help + Support service selector also does not list Microsoft for Startups.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate this question privately to Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Business Verification? I need to correct the applicant-account identity alignment while the verification is still pending. I will provide sensitive account and registration details only through a secure private support channel.

For Microsoft for Startups program, benefit, portal access, entitlement, and verification-related issues, the supported path is Microsoft for Startups Program Support.

Since the Your Microsoft Team → Get program support entry is missing in the Azure Portal preview experience, use the Microsoft for Startups support submission flow instead:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal at https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/login.
    2. Select the "?" icon in the top-right corner.
    3. Select "Submit a Support Ticket".
    4. Attach screenshots and the verification details needed for review.

    Program Support handles:

    • program onboarding
    • Azure credit activation
    • benefit redemption
    • billing profile issues
    • entitlement corrections
    • portal access problems

The available documentation supports contacting Program Support for verification and account-related corrections, but it does not document a self-service way to transfer a pending applicant/owner to another Microsoft account or to reset a pending verification from the portal.

To avoid duplicate records, submit one support ticket and request review of the pending verification and applicant identity/account alignment through that secure support channel.

If the issue is specifically an Azure technical or billing problem, submit an Azure support request in the Azure Portal:

    1. Sign in to the Azure Portal.
    2. Select the "?" icon.
    3. Select "Help + support".
    4. Select "Create a support request".
