One additional check that may be worth trying is accessing Sticky Notes through Outlook on the web using the same Microsoft account. There is no need to install the Outlook mobile app. Sticky Notes data is also exposed through Microsoft's web experience and can be accessed from a browser when signed in with the affected account.

If you have not already done so, please sign in to https://outlook.live.com using the same Microsoft account and check whether your Sticky Notes are visible there on Notes folder.

The result will help us determine whether the issue is limited to the Android Sticky Notes experience or whether access to the Sticky Notes service itself is being affected for the account.

I have logged on and the notes section shows 5 notes in the folder which is correct but seems to be stuck loading notes. So not actually seeing them.

Given the troubleshooting already completed and the pattern emerging from other reports, my recommendation would be to allow 24 to 48 hours and test again periodically in case the issue is resolved through a service-side fix.

If the problem continues beyond that, I would suggest contacting Microsoft Support directly so they can perform account-level investigation and review any relevant service diagnostics.

To answer your questions

1. No the site https://www.onenote.com/stickynotes does not let me sign in as I have a personal account not a organizational account
2. Yes all ok across a PC and a laptop
3. Notebooks are syncing between the PC and the phone - so just the sticky notes
4. Personal account
5. Same error on both WiFi and mobile data.

The same issue is occurring on my partners Motorola Moto G30

• Try signing in to https://www.onenote.com/stickynotes from a desktop browser using the same Microsoft account. That site supports personal Microsoft accounts and is the web endpoint used for Sticky Notes synchronization.
• If you have multiple Microsoft accounts configured on the Android device, temporarily remove the additional accounts from OneNote and test with only the affected account.
• Verify that the Microsoft account is still listed under OneNote > Settings > Accounts and try signing out and back in from within OneNote if the option is available.
• Test whether Sticky Notes can be accessed through Outlook on the web, as Sticky Notes data is also surfaced through Microsoft's web experiences. Sticky Notes data should appear in Notes folder.

Please let us know the outcome of the web sign-in test, as that may help narrow down whether the issue is specific to the Android app or affects Sticky Notes access more broadly.
